Since 1998

The yard behind every straight beam

Ultra Timbers started as a single rack of graded pine and one delivery truck. Nearly three decades later the rack count has changed. The standard has not.

01 · Our story

Built one honest load at a time

In 1998 our founder loaded his first truck with pine graded by hand and a promise that no customer would ever find a rotten stick in the middle of a bundle. Trade yards notice that kind of thing. Word travelled.

Today we stock over forty species, run our own fleet and grade every incoming load before it touches the racks. The same rule applies though: if a piece does not match its grade, it does not ship.

We are timber people serving timber people. Builders, joiners, roof erectors, marine contractors. If your name is on the structure, our name is on the material.

In house cross cut and rip lines. Cutting lists in, site ready timber out.

03 · How we work

Three rules we do not bend

Grade it honestly

Every incoming load is checked piece by piece against its grade. What the stamp says is what you get.

Quote it fast

A named person answers your enquiry within one business day. Not a bot. Not a maybe.

Stand behind it

If something is wrong with a delivery, it gets fixed before your next one. That has kept clients for decades.

04 · Certifications

Paperwork that passes

Chain of custody certification and SANS compliant grading mean engineers sign off and inspectors wave the load through. Certificates travel with the delivery note on request.
